There’s that email making the rounds – something like this:
“May 2005 – Dr. Anid and his team have made a new discovery. A set of bones
of an early human-like tribe predating those found in Africa by 1000
years.Where was this discovery made? In a large country right in the middle
of Europe and Asia. A country that most Americans haven’t even heard of
until the recent Elections that took place there, the Ukraine”
So many used Google to substantiate this, the stock ran up 100 points!
Silly personages. Everyone knows that minute remnants of the oldest form of primitive life was found at the Trembita Lounge under a bottle of Galiano – that 60’s something ubiquitous ingedient of the Harvey Wallbanger. This is what it might have looked like way back then as recreated recently by the staff and friends of Soyuzivka.
Yep, got this forward too and proceeded to disclaim every name and institution in it…
Funny though how much people wanted to believe it.
